La stazione è installata a nord. Il microclima e' tipico delle zone interne del versante adriatico. Frequenti azioni fredde, spesso di matrice nord-orientale, apportano nel periodo invernale nevicate anche frequenti. D'estate non e' raro assistere a valori massimi vicini ai 30 gradi. La zona, e' soggetta a parziale inversione termica e molto esposta a nord-est.
