La zona dei Pian Dei Grassi a circa 1200m sul Col Visentin ha una visuale aperta a tutta la pianura veneta e risente delle brezze di versante così come dei rapidi cambiamenti di temperatura in occasione di afflussi miti meridionali (specie in inverno con scirocco o libeccio). Si registrano temporali anche molto intensi e precipitazioni abbondanti, specie in occasione di stau da sud che incentiva i fenomeni sul crinale prealpino.
