Pisa sorge a pochi chilometri dal mare e dalla foce dell'Arno in un'area pianeggiante.Il clima della citta'è influenzato da due fattori:la vicinanza del mare,che tende a mitigare sia i rigori invernali sia la calura estiva,le precipitazioni nevose sono un fenomeno piuttosto raro,la neve riesce ad attaccare al suolo solo in casi eccezionali.
