Pedara offre una grande varietà climatica in conseguenza dell'altitudine e la distanza dalla costa.Spesso nevica nel periodo invernale e le precipitazioni, nel loro complesso, raggiungono anche i 1.200 mm. L'area presenta inoltre una forte escursione termica notte-giorno; ciò, a volte, è causa di intense nebbie improvvise. D'estate le temperature medie di Pedara e dei paesi dell'hinterland si aggira sui 35 °C e durante le intense ondate di calore la temperatura sfiora i 42 °C. L'opposto avviene durante le serene notti invernali quando il termometro riesce a scendere fino a -5 °C.
