La Stazione si trova sul lembo orientale delle colline dell’Alto Monferrato, il clima è quello del Piemonte centro-orientale con le caratteristiche variate (rispetto al suolo) in conseguenza dell’altezza di 250 metri sul livello del mare, oltre 150 in più rispetto alla sottostante pianura che, a pochi km di distanza, è la pianura lombarda occidentale-meridionale.
