La stazione Meteosudest è situata in campagna a poco meno di 3km dal centro abitato, a pochi metri dal Viale Cristoforo Colombo, in Contrada San Biagio, ad una altitudine di metri 375 s.l.m., praticamente la stessa del centro di Putignano. Il clima della zona è tipicamente temperato mediterraneo, molto ventilato in ogni periodo dell'anno, influenzato dalla sua posizione a metà strada fra il mare Adriatico ed il Mare Jonio.
