Paesino situato in media Val seriana ( circa 5km da Albino), sul versante Nord del monte Misma(1160m) clima notevolmente interessato dalle Prealpi Orobie. Caratteristica rilevante in inverno è la notevole riduzione della radiazione solare circa 2 ore e mezza in pieno inverno influenzando notevolmente la temperatura massima. IL vento prevalente segue la direzione della Val Seriana direzione SW-NW mentre in alcuni casi in presenza di Foehn ruota in direzione NW.
