Considerata la sua posizione ai piedi della Sila Greca e a poco più di 20 km dal mar jonio gode di un clima relativamente mite e ventilato in tutte le stagioni, con un’ escursione termica tra il giorno e la notte contenuta. Le piogge si concentrano nei mesi autunnali ed invernali ed il clima (salvo eccezioni) diviene via via più secco in primavera-estate, anche se non sono rari i temporali estivi. In inverno è possibile che la neve faccia la sua comparsa, non sono infrequenti le nevicate con accumuli al suolo anche modesti.
