Clima che risente della presenza del Mar Mediterraneo ma anche di un clima più continentale visto che la stazione si trova nell’entroterra e ai piedi dei monti della Sila. Le estati sono generalmente calde ma non mancano episodi temporaleschi con l’Anticiclone delle Azzorre; gli inverni possono essere freddi accompagnati da forti venti di tramontana.
