La stazione è posizionata nella valle Peligna, in zona rurale. Estati calde e secche con rapidi temporali estivi. Inverni non troppo piovosi, miti con correnti da W SW, freddi e talvolta nevosi con correnti da E NE. Discreta piovosità in autunno e primavera quando si possono avere escursioni termiche diurne anche importanti. Luogo molto ventoso durante tutto l'anno.
